CHEESE FESTIVAL HELD AT LAMPAS MARINE INSTITUTE! BATALA AWAKENS!
Today the Lampas Marine Institute hosted a special Cheese Festival on it's campus grounds. The culinary event treated guests and students to hand-made cheeses and cheese making workshops, photo opportunities, and a limited gacha event featuring plushies of the Lampas Ratpack.
High society and commonfolk alike were seen enjoying the attractions, trading collectible plushies, wearing rat ears, taking photographs with a rat mascot. "I can't believe I got a double rare pull!" says an enthusiastic visitor, bag filled to the brim with rat pack plushies.
"We can't help it if everybody loves cheese," says the enigmatic Chancellor B. Cheesemachine, head of the institute. Following this statement, Her Royal Highness the Empress Beatrix was seen at the festival grounds, escorted by the Chancellor himself. Her appearance remains the subject of hot debate as rumors of Elandrian magic affecting 'Batala' continue to circulate.
In the midst of lively conversation, the familiar hum of the sea rang throughout the courtyard as Batala suddenly began to stir. As the Elandrian magic seal began to fade, he awoke before a crowd of adoring visitors and messages from friends surrounding where he lay. After many hugs, greetings and celebratory dancing, Batala explained that his disappearance was 'highly exaggerated', stating that the Empress' awakening had simply left him stuck due to the residual magic that had escaped when she displayed herself at the ball.
The golem was seen returning to the shores of Lampas, walking about the city with his usual cheer. The Wavemother's message remains clear - 4 days remain.
