The rules of engagement were simple - four drinks to leave you dizzy, and then, the fight begins. One-on-one, no armor, no weapons, just willpower and a battle of fists. Some notable entries were Lord Aurelio of House Ronove, who displayed himself as a man capable of more than pleasantries at court, Priest of the Faith, Orm who showed hands in the name of The Mother, and newly wedded Lord Lucian Ward who made a fantastic show for his beloved wife Lady Amare Azulite, who swooned from the audience.

A brief intermission round followed the first half of the tournament - a showcase fight between two of Lampas' most eligible bachelors, Coinmaster Crowley and Admiral Noct, whose posters have been highly sought after. Crowley was seen downing a handful of Lampia Cheese prior to the fight in an attempt to prove it's positive effects, going head to head with the Admiral in a stalemate. Admiral Noct eventually added an additional 1000 Aur to the prize pool in support of the event.

The tournament's final matchup was a close one - Timothy versus Fior, Moth versus Rat. Shouts and cheers and betting filled the tavern as all held their breaths for the outcome. Fior was beaten with a clean knockout, earning Timothy the Moth a well-earned victory. The pair were seen shaking hands for a quick photo session after the match, which ended in high spirits and a round of more free drinks and food for all.

The Gourd is open at the Fisheries of Old Lampas daily. Come visit them for a good time today!

Overeager citizens and environmental activists took immediate action after an alarming discovery of toxic waste from the Lampia Factory located south of the city. According to an anonymous witness, vigilantes were seen sneaking around the factory perimeter in an attempt to stop the sewage, plugging the pipes witth concrete while others laid barriers around the shores and canals. The contamination has since spread, with waste seen bursting from major pipes that have begun to flood the waters south of the farms. It has now been closed to the public, and any trespassers will be charged with trespassing.
